About Me

My name is Chenay and for as long as I can remember I have been told that I am very creative, most of the time this was a good thing, sometimes when I was younger...it was maybe a nice way of saying you are lucky you aren't in trouble young lady haha.

I have been taking photos ever since my mum got a free camera when she purchased a computer way back in the very early 2000's. That thing was stuck in my hands for a good few months until I had figured out every inch of how it worked and what I could do with it.

I took a short course in photography at school and loved it. My hobby however took a back seat when I decided to study Veterinary Nursing-I have been a Vet nurse since 2010-Yes, I love taking photos of your pets!

I started my hobby back up about 6 years ago and decided to study more into family portraits and newborn sessions.

I now have a beautiful family of my own which gives me the added advantage of understanding how kids work and that most of the time none of them like sitting still for a photo, which is why I have developed my style to be more candid rather than full of set poses-it's much more fun trust me.

I believe I have a very easy-going approach and have been told that I make my clients feel comfortable which is great because...who wants photos of uncomfortable people, am I right?
